“THE MORE YOU KNOW ABOUT ME, THE LESS YOU WANT ME ON A T-SHIRT”
Welcome to the revolution!… The trouble is we don’t know how we’re going to do it… we only know we’re looking for something beautiful. We have wine, we have posters! and t-shirts! and, hopefully, an audience willing to march alongside us. Or perhaps not march, perhaps they will just be our silent majority….
Is it possible to find beauty in the streets? What about happiness or love? What will they take to obtain? Are we prepared to make that sacrifice?
In a one man show of aspirational proportions, Thomas Jancis takes us through the highlights and lowlights of this postmodernist revolutionary and his severely post-dramatic attempts to motivate the Mob… again!
Le Beauté has been presented in several locations including a Caravan in a warehouse in London, a Music rehearsal studio in Winchester and more recently at Camden People’s Theatre as part of Tetrad’s Us and Them series. It will presently be adapted to be a piece of outdoor theatre.
